Room with the best view: Everland
Oct 21st, 2007 by Carrie

It’s art that lives and breathes, and you can even sleep there too. Just when everyone thought that the Palais de Tokyo (modern, modern art, too the point of garbage bin like) lost its cachet, they have come back with a new director and the best modern, maybe even post-modern work, Everland, by two Swiss artists, Sabina Lang et Daniel Baumann. Sure its commercial and surely it was done to bolster the waning cash (and idea) inflow, but its a darn smart idea. Who doesn’t dream of a night under the stars, a view of the ‘ole Tour Eiffel, all night access to the Palais de Tokyo and breakfast in bed. And even if it is disneyland-esque, you can’t help but be fascinated.
Booking a room on the other hand is where you need some disney magic. Rooms can only be booked two months in advance, exactly two months. And they can only be booked via Everland’s website at a random time each day (or night). So cross your fingers, get out your magic wand, open up your internet browser and start browsing.
