Normandy: Getaway

Winter special at the Roches Noires apartment: 700€/week or 500€ for three nights.

There are those who prefer the Côte d’Azur-like feeling of Normandy in the summer. And then there are those that go to Normandy to get away from it all. Depending how you play your cards, you can have both worlds and in the off-season to boot. Normandy in the winter is desolate, the waves cap on the empty beach, the tide goes out and your the only one collecting shells for miles. You can while away the afternoon in the Robert Mallet-Stevens lobby with “The North China Lover” (Marguerite Duras) and imagine her writing away up in her room. Then you can cross the street to check out the local historical museum and their permanent collection of Savignac’s posters. Or you can stroll through the fashion set on the streets of Deauville, the choice is up to you.
